Get to Know Dr. Tracy D. Jenkins

Dr. Tracy Jenkins is passionate about dentistry and is also very meticulous. His attention to detail and artistic talents allow him to provide his patients with the best care and results possible. One of the best parts of being a dentist in Idaho Falls for him is the satisfaction he gets when he’s able to witness a patient feel more confident and even excited about their smile after treatment. He truly enjoys being around his patients and getting to learn more about them and considers it a privilege to serve them.

What is Your Dental Philosophy?

Dr. Jenkins opened Discover Family Dental because he had a vision of providing patients with life-changing, high-quality dental care. At Discover Family Dental, he focuses on providing three main services, including general dentistry, dental implants, and children’s dentistry. He understands that patients have busy lives and appreciate having an office where their entire family can receive care under one roof, which is why comprehensive dental care is a crucial part of his practice. Dr. Jenkins has spent hundreds of hours taking continuing education courses as well as providing his team with additional training so his patients can receive the excellent care they deserve.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Jenkins was born and raised on the west side of Idaho Falls. He graduated from the respected Indiana University School of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Jenkins continued his education with extensive dental implant training at the White Capp Institute Center for Dental Implant Training.

Outside of the Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Jenkins loves spending time with his amazing wife, Ellen, and their three wonderful children. He also enjoys spending time in their garden, going on adventures with his kids, and drawing. Dr. Jenkins enjoys designing and making wood furniture. Recently, he and his boys rebuilt a classic Chevrolet Pickup.
